Ramelius Resources Limited (RMS) Compulsory Acquisition of Musgrave Minerals Limited (MGV) – September 2023

The compulsory acquisition of Musgrave Minerals Limited (MGV) by Ramelius Resources Limited (RMS) via an off-market offer made on 11 July 2023, and Musgrave Minerals Limited (MGV) been suspended from trading from 26 September 2023.  The scheme record date is 29 September 2023.

For shareholders who elected to take up the offer, will receive 1 Ramelius Resources Limited (RMS) share for every 4.21 Musgrave Minerals Limited (MGV) shares, plus $0.04 cash per each Musgrave Minerals Limited (MGV).

Here are the instructions for your portfolio manager:

Navigate to the Portfolio Manager

  • Select your portfolio that holds MGV
  • Under Securities Held. Click on MGV.
  • Scroll down the page to the “Trades and Adjustments” section.
  • Click on the button called “Other transactions”
  • From the drop-down menu, click on “New Reconstruction”.

In the new window,

  • Enter the Date: 29/09/2023
  • Number of shares participating is your current holding of MGV
  • In the box titled New Holdings for which rollover relief applies:
    • Code: RMS
    • Quantity: Your MGV shareholding divided by 4.21    IE: 8,420 MGV Shares divided by 4.21  = 2000 RMS Shares
    • Cost base rolled over (%):100.

Then click on the “Income & Capital Return” tab and enter in your Income of $0.04 per share, (IE 8,420 shares X $0.04 = $366.80 ), into the “Other Taxable Income ($) column, as seen below:

Then click on the ‘Trade Allocation” tab and check your “Allocation of Trades” method, as seen below:

 

 

Click “SAVE” and you have now accounted for the Scheme of arrangement for MGV.
