Link Administration Holdings Limited (LNK) Demerger of PEXA Group Limited(PXA) Scheme of Arrangement - January 2023

The demerger of Link Administration Holdings Limited (LNK) from PEXA Group Limited (PXA) was implemented on 10 January 2023.

As a result of the scheme, LNK Shareholders will receive 1 PXA share for every 7.52 LNK shares held on the record date of 3 January 2023, rounded down to the nearest whole PEXA Share.

Affected LNK shareholders should see the instructions below to account for the PXA share acquisition in the Stock Doctor Portfolio Manager. The relevant ATO tax ruling for this demerger is Class Ruling CR 2023/7.


1. Click on the 'Portfolio’ tab and then click on the appropriate portfolio under ‘My Portfolio(s)’, which includes the LNK shares.
2. Under the ‘Securities Held’ section, find Link Administration Holdings Limited (LNK) and click on the code “LNK”
3. Please scroll down to the “Trades and Adjustments” area and click on ‘New Reconstruction’ under the "Other Transaction" drop-down menu.

4. In the Reconstruction window, enter the following:
     1. Date as 10 January 2023
     2. The number of shares participating should be the same as the number of LNK shares owned on this          date.
3. Under “New holdings for which rollover relief applies” Do the following:
• Code: LNK, Quantity: same amount as “number of shares participating” and Cost base rolled over (%): 54.44%
• Click on the plus symbol to add another line.
• On the new line, Code: PXA, Quantity: The LNK quantity divided by 7.52. In this example 7520 divided by 7.52 = 1000 and Cost base rolled over (%): 45.56%
5. Then click on the “Trade Allocation Tab” and check your “Allocation of Trades”

6. As a suggestion, please click on the Notes tab and make a note of the reconstruction particulars

7. Click “Save” and you have accounted for the LNK/PXA reconstruction in the Portfolio.
